How to Wire or Connect Door Locks

To wire and connect door locks for a PULSE 200 Series door operator, follow these steps:
  • Locate the terminals on the bottom right of the board, labeled Lock + and Lock -.
  • Set the output voltage to either 12V or 24V DC using the jumper on the top right of the board. For 24V DC, install the jumper on the left; for 12V DC, install it on the right.
  • After hooking up the door locks and setting the correct output voltage, access the STARTUP MENU by holding the STOP button for 10 seconds.
  • Once in the STARTUP MENU use the OPEN/CLOSE buttons to navigate to the LOCK OUTPUT option and press STOP to select it.
  • Once selected, use again OPEN/CLOSE buttons to adjust the timing for power to be provided to the locks then press STOP to save.
  • If the door locks operate backwards, swap the Lock + and Lock - connections to swap the polarity.
