"Check Encoder" Message on LCD Panel

If the LCD screen displays the message: "Check Encoder" on your PULSE 300 Series door operator:
  • With the power off, check that the Encoder header is plugged in (bottom-right of the control board).
  • Ensure that the Orange Encoder cable is in E1, and the White Encoder cable is in E2.
  • Turn the power on, measure the voltage across E1 and E2; you should have around +24 V DC.
  • If not: turn the power off, disconnect the encoder and measure resistance or continuity between the two cables.
  • If you have continuity, a resistance value below 1 Kiloohm or less than 24 V, then please contact technical support .
