Connected Photo-Eye Not Working

If the photo-eye is connected and not working on your PULSE 300 Series door operator:
  • Try rebooting the operator to reinitialize the photo-eye as NPN or PNP.
  • While the operator turns back on, pay attention to the LCD screen for the words "Safety Compliant" or "Safety Non-Compliant":
    • If the screen says "Safety Compliant": the photo-eye is detected and is aligned.
    • If the screen says "Safety Non-Compliant": check if the photo-eye is powered; if not check your wiring. If the photo-eye is powered, ensure that it is aligned with the reflector or other through-beam eye. Also ensure that the unused reversing inputs are jumpered to +24 (excluding R2).
