Door Moves Slightly After Receiving a Command and Then Stops

If your door moves slightly after receiving an open/close command and then stops on your PULSE 300 Series door operator, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check LCD screen messages:

  • Overcurrent message: Check for jams or obstructions, then try a fresh Calibration. If this does not help, increase the corresponding Force (Open or Close, via the STARTUP MENU), and try again. Repeat until the door runs smoothly.
  • Reversing message: Check the alignment (stationary, and in-motion) and wiring of attached reversing devices. Once they are properly aligned, the door should close automatically.
  • Activation, P.B., or Remote Radio message: Check the wiring and functionality of the corresponding device. It may be sending false commands.

For mechanical issues:

  • Enter Jog Mode via the STARTUP MENU, and attempt to jog the door up and down.
  • If the door does not move:
    • ensure that there are no mechanical jams;
    • the door is balanced (via ‘BALANCE CHECK-UP’ from the STARTUP MENU);
    • and the motor is plugged in.
  • If this does not help, please contact technical support .
