Door Not Closing When Using Remote or Close Timer
For pusher spring issues preventing full opening:
- This may indicate that the pusher springs are preventing the door from opening fully to the Open Limit (the LCD panel displays the message 'DOOR IS STOPPED').
- Reset the Open Limit so that it does not engage with the pusher springs. This will allow the door to reach the full open position and subsequently close as expected.
For Closing Timer configuration issues:
- Check if the Closing Timer is set. Enter the door operator's menu settings and ensure that the Closing Timer is configured to the desired delay.
- If the closing timer is set, check if the door is open to the set limit and that photo-eyes are aligned.
- Also check if any activation devices are triggering the timer to reset.
For photo-eye or reversing device issues:
- A blocked, misaligned, or damaged photo-eye or reversing device could prevent the door from closing.
- Ensure the photo-eye's LED light is on. If it's off, first clean the photo-eye and reflector.
- If the light doesn't come on, adjust the photo-eye's alignment.
- Should the light remain off, inspect the photo-eye and its cable for damage.
For Closing Timer issues:
- The Closing Timer may not be counting down, stuck, or being reset intermittently.
- Check the following devices as they could be sending false activation that is resetting or stopping the Closing Timer: remote, push buttons, external push buttons, and open/close activator.
For remote control issues:
- If you are using the remote, check that the remote is correctly paired to the receiver.
