How to Wire or Connect Door Locks

PULSE 300 Series door operators come with terminals for connecting 24V DC door locks:
  • The terminals are located on the bottom left of the board labeled Lock 1 & 2.
  • After hooking up the door locks, you will need to change the LOCK OUTPUT option in the ADVANCED MENU.
  • Usually 250ms is a good starting point for locks, you can increase/decrease the timing if the lock isn't fully moving or bouncing.
  • If the door locks are operating backwards, swap the Lock + and Lock - connections to swap the polarity.
