Door Not Closing When Using Remote or Close Timer

If your door does not close using the remote or the closing timer for your PULSE 500 Series door operator, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

Adjust pusher springs and limit brackets:

  • If the door does not fully open to the Open limit, or the LCD panel shows the message "Door is Stopped", remove the pusher springs and replace them with the supplied limit brackets.
  • Alternatively, reset the Open Limit to avoid engaging the pusher springs and set all activation devices to open the door to the set limit.

Reset the Close Timer:

  • If the door isn't closing with the closing timer, ensure the Close Timer is set correctly as per the installation manual.

Check the reversing device:

  • Ensure a functional reversing device is correctly installed in either the R1 or R2 terminal. Check wiring, alignment, and test functionality if already installed.
